I received my order from DACardWorld today.

Here are the highlights...

Box #1
2002 Leaf Rookies & Stars Baseball Retail:
A few short prints and Statistical Standouts and the highlight:
Statistical Standouts Roger Clemens jersey SP - $30

A $30 g/u from a $16 box is always a good thing

Box #2
2005 Leaf Century Collection:
This was a disappointment. I received the standard ratios and here are the highlights:
Randy Johnson Bat
Mike Sweeney Bat
Scott Podsednik auto #/100
Warren Spahn pants/stamp

Nothing too great but beggars can't be choosers I guess. The Spahn goes in my PC.

Box #3
2004 Fleer Greats of the Game Signature Cuts Edition:
This was a great way to end the openings. In addition to a complete set, I received:
Forever Mets Keith Hernandez $5
Forever Cardinals Bob Gibson $6
Forever Cubs Billy Williams $5
Blue Parallel Will Clark #47/89 $12
Jerry Koosman Auto $15
Deion Sanders Auto Redemption $40
Yankee Clippings Bill Skowron jersey $50

A great box to finish things off. The Skowrow jersey is a nice large piece. G/U have gotten so small lately and this is just a great looking card. If you haven't seen these jersey's all I can say is that they are some of the nicest I have seen in quite some time.

A complete set and two nice cards just made the night.

All are for trade with the exception of the Spahn and I may need to hold on to the Skowrow as I just love the look of the card.

I just have one question - who cares about a bat card for a pitcher? Its not like they do anything with the bats really. :D

randy wolf does....its actually sad..i dont know if anyone remembers from last year.. The Phillies need a pinch hitter..and since they are horrible they had to have Randy Wolf pinch Hit. They prolly figured why not since he had hit a homerun the night before or 2 nights before. something like that

Dave - it's a redemption card so I don't know which team is featured, though GOTG usually features a player on the team they were on most so that splits the possibilities between the Braves and Reds. I would guess Braves???

Jeff,
I've always thought that as well. A bat of a guy who bats maybe twice every week or so. And most of the time the bat does not come in contact with the ball. :)

That was my point. Give me a piece of glove or jersey and thats fine but I REALLY dont care about a pitchers bat.

I'm right there with you on that. I actually like the oddball game-used of gloves etc.
