Pull of a Lifetime!!!!! (for me at least)
I just wanted to share this. I'm actually still trembling.
I stopped by my local shop on the way home today and bought some cheap packs. They were 4 for $6, so $1.50 each. Two packs I bought were 2001 Topps Stars. I was hoping for a Pujols RC. I opened the first pack and got all base. The second pack had a Pujols RC!! I was very happy. I noticed it had gold on the bottom and figured that was the way the card was. I went to look it up in my older Beckett Plus and saw there was a gold version. I've learned not to get my hopes but saw that my card was serial numbered to 499. So was the gold in Beckett. I about had a heart attack when I saw the BV was $100!! I then looked it up online figuring it had gone down some but it now books $120!!!!  I just wanted to share with my online friends here. I'm soooooooo thrilled! -Patrick

Wow!!!
I opened the other 2 packs from the 4 (2000 Finest) and pulled a Lyle Overbay RC Refractor!! BV=$25 Not bad for $6. I also bought 3 packs of 2004 Topps Chrome Series 2 that I will open in a bit. -Patrick

Well this now qualifies as the best pack day for me ever.
I opened the 3 Chrome packs and, while I didn't get an auto, I did get the hot pack with the red, black and gold refractors. a very very good day for me for a total of $15 out of my pockets. -Patrick
