Press Pass takes on the "Toughest sport on Earth" with its first release of Professional Bull Riding cards - 2010 8 Seconds. Completely filled with riders, bulls and tons of action shots, this set is a lot of fun for the collector. PBR is one of the fastest growing sports, but the question is will these fans take to the hobby and will the hobby collectors take to the sport? Press Pass makes it hard to say no with 8 seconds.

This 100 card set comes in 24 hobby packs per box and is LOADED with value. There are at least three autos and three event-worn memorabilia cards per box!

The base set design is very thorough and fits well with the theme. It has that rustic western feel and the back gives you a sense of how tough the sport is by listing the injuries each rider has sustained. Our box produced a complete set of base cards with a few extras. Each of the cards features crisp photos and great action shots. For the newcomers, the backs of the base cards are loaded with information about the riders and the bulls.

There is not an abundance of inserts (with so many hits) but they are a very nice addition. They feature a beltbuckle looking foil board card of the greats of PBR. They have a raised feel to the card to give it the 3D quality - our box yielded two of them.

The main attraction to this set are the memorabilia and autographed cards. There are all kinds of event-worn memorabilia, from cowboy hats to shirts to jeans to gloves. These pieces are very nicely placed on the card and really draw attention to them. Press Pass has really done well in using the memorabilia pieces to accentuate the card rather than just being memorabilia with some basic design. The autographs are fantastic. Whether you are a fan of PBR or not, you can not argue that nobody has put out an autograph set like this for some time. All autos are on-card and just fit the card percectly. They have black, blue and red ink autos and the blue and red are serial numbered. It appears that the red inks also all have inscriptions.

This is definately a nice product to buy if you are a fan of the sport or if you are looking to try something new. Press Pass got in early on this one, so it will be interesting how it works out. One thing for sure...8 Seconds is an instant classic.

wow, im really happy that press pass did this product. I have liked the PBR since i was a little kid and have collected autograph photos of alot of these guys. and to see them have relic cards and autos is very cool. The design is very awesome, And i love that they put the bulls in the set also. Thanks for shareing this with us.

I think this set and PBR might actually be able to make it in the collecting world if Press Pass can continue to put out great looking cards like these. I agree that the rustic look is great and fits in perfect to theme of the cards and PBR. One thing that I noticed that I thought was really cool was the "injuries" bio on the back!!! How cool is it to see how many broken bones a "dude" has had. These guys are tough coolies and grabbing an AU from a top-notch star in PBR could be a great investment considering how often they get hurt. You never know when their next ride will be their last ride. Great job Press Pass and thanks SCH!!

who knew that bullriding had such a following?! some very cool cards, i love how the bulls themselves are in the set too! and the overall desings of the cards are awesome. cant beat hard signed autos either!! press pass made some good choices with this set, and i hope it sticks around for all the bullriding fans to enjoy.

i think they should put like a piece of bull hair from diffferent riding bulls, that would be kinda sweet! like the cards from goodwin baseball

Thanks for giving this product a chance. I can't wait order some from press pass on-line. Any chance you tell me the cost on a box? These cards look great! I agree with kcatthebat, but I know the stock contractors may not like that, with the genetics and such. To much money on the line. Hope this really takes of and Press Pass can keep it going.

They are about $50/box. Most big online shops have them!

I have always enjoyed watching the bullriding as well and I am really impressed with this set. Press Pass if you are watching 2 Thumbs Up!!! Great stuff.
